Yes, you can transfer your TurboTax Desktop to TurboTax Online:
If you used TurboTax Desktop last year
Go to TurboTax.
If you don’t yet have a TurboTax Online account, follow the prompts to the File with complete confidence screen.
Select Create account and follow the steps to create your account.
Sign in, and on the Great to see you again! screen, select Start a new return.
Continue until arriving at How did you do your taxes last year? and select TurboTax Download/CD, then Continue.
Let’s start with last year’s return, select Choose File, and from the Open pop-up, select your 2024 file and select Open.
Now that your 2024 filename is in the Choose a .tt23 file to upload field, enter your Social Insurance number and select Continue.
