Can i move before my wife and claim both moves?
Here's the deal. We are living in Alberta and I took a job in Nova Scotia so me and my wife are driving there and I'll start work and look for a house etc. Then she will fly back to Alberta and sell the house finish up her work and head to Nova Scotia. Because there is 2 different time frames can we claim my trip and hers? Can we still claim the real estate costs because it will be after the first move?

Self-employed
Yes, you are able to claim both moves. It's important to enter both moving dates on the T1-M form. You may also want to contact TurboTax Live and Assist using the following link, https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/navigating-turbotax/help/i-m-using-turbotax-live-assi....
