You still enter the amount you paid in the T4 Box 85.
If employer does not enter box 85, Canada Revenue Agency(CRA) may ask you to provide supporting documents. Employee-paid premiums to a private health services plan are still considered qualifying medical expenses and can be claimed by the employee on their income tax and benefit return.
