Credits and deductions

As per the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), if you have a prescription, you may deduct these as medical expenses. If you're a Quebec resident, vision care is subject to limitation and must be entered separately.

To enter this in TurboTax Online, please follow these instructions:

1. Deductions (in the left-side menu ≡)
2. Medical Expenses Profile
3. Select all of the checkboxes that apply to you.
4. Click "Enter New Medical Expense"
5. Click "+ Add Medical Receipt" or enter the total amount of your medical receipts
