Federal non-refundable credits would be the sum of lines 30300 to 31400 on the T1 in this years return. You can see the T1 in the PDF archive of the dependant's return.

Does this mean you do not add in the Basic Personal Amount, but enter all the other tax credits in that section?

@gg9999 It's only asking for lines 30300 to 31400, not Line 30000 – Basic personal amount.
