Filing

The common error could be:

  1. The SIN and the surname you entered are not a match in CRA records. 
  2. Using a maiden name or married name that has not been updated on CRA records. If this is the case, the individual should visit: Update your CRA information: Change your name OR Update your CRA information: Change your marital status 
  3. Smith Catherine was reported but should be Catherine smith in the typing field. Or Surname has not been entered on the slip.
