I'm trying to file my income tax and I am not quite sure what to do for the repayment of covid 19 financial assistance. On my T4E Line 26 overpayment recovered/repaid there is an amount of 2000$.
If I fill Box 30 Total federal covid repayment and covid repayments to claim in 2022 it gives me an amount of 4000$ when I review my tax refund.
Do I just leave Box 30 empty since the amount of 2000$ is already in box 26?
Also, after checking the box that me and my husband are cohabitating, our refund went down over 400$. Is that normal?
