Turbotax Asking if Payment is Being Made in 5 Days
I am curious why Turbotax asks at the time of filing if you are going to pay within 5 days. Does it really make any difference when the payment is made to CRA as long as it is before the April 30 deadline. I've never understood the reason for the 5 day question.
It may be to tell the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) system not to send a bill to the taxpayer as the amount due is on it's way. The answer was not found but you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281 for clarification.
