Final Taxes
Why do you guys insist that someone's Final Taxes (taxes for the year of death) need to be printed and mailed to the person's tax center. (on TurboTax Standard download).
The Canadian government clearly allows it to be Netfiled.
Thanks

Filing
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) says that you may E-File the final return, but this cannot be done through TurboTax. You may complete the return with TurboTax and then mail it in to be filed.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Filing
@Csl3 The CRA allows for electronic filing of final returns through E-File. TurboTax uses NETFILE, which doesn't allow filing a tax return for an individual who died in the tax year or the current year (2022 or 2023). https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/netfile-overview/...
