Troubleshooting

I purchased the Turbotax Standard online edition (8 returns) and I have never been more frustrated in my life!!!!!!!!  I could not find one other than this but I did think I could actually download the program on to my desktop computer. Why can I not just download the program after going through all the sign in process and then have an icon on my desktop to just click on to start and carry forward new returns?  Why do I have to go through all the hassle of signing in online with  my ID and password every time I want to start a new return.  How do I access starting a new file as is only brings up the first alphabetical one from the previous year.  If you do not actually send a disk after the program is paid for then I shall never buy your product again.
