Troubleshooting

That did not work before because it tried to assign a new one, but I couldn't follow through as I no longer have a Canadian phone number. I reached out for support via Twitter, and they've filed an escalation request and managed to fix something in the backend. While I now apparently need to go over things with an entirely new tax expert, at least my documents have re-appeared. If anyone has a similar problem, I recommend reaching out via Twitter DM.
