You can’t use a Profile file to transfer data into TurboTax.

okay . however since Intuit now owns Profile it seems  to me that is an oversight in programming that prior year data Profile does mot carry forward into current year  Turbo Tax

If you have a ProFile file from last year that you want to transfer to this year, you can always use ProFile OnePay to prepare your return. But please note that ProFile uses E-File, not NETFILE, so you will need to print and mail your return if you don’t have an E-File account.
