Turbotax shows pending after rejection email sent.

I submitted both State and Federal returns on Feb 21st.  I received emails that same day that they had been rejected with instructions on how to fix them.  

When I open Turbotax (desktop) it still shows both returns as "Pending".  I am unable to correct the error and resubmit without some guidance.  

I've checked back several times and it's now more than 48 hours since I received the email and 24 hours since I received a "critical notice" reminder email.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
