If I do separate returns in TurboTax I end up with a $4,000 return and my spouse ends up with a $2,500 return.
Things get interesting when I do a joint return. When I put all my info in, it shows my $4,000 return, but after adding my spouses T4 info, the refund drops to $1,600.
TurboTax says I should be getting a bigger refund when done together, so far this doesn't seem to be the case.
