I work in Ontario but live in Quebec. Is it normal that I have to pay the total taxed owed amount to Revenu Quebec, instead of the balance between that and Federal tax?

I'm at the end of the tax return and it's showing a small amount as my balance due, which I thought would be the amount I had to pay at the end. However, it's asking me how to pay my full balance for Revenu Quebec, but I will get refunded almost the same amount by the federal. Perhaps I missed it, but is there a way to only pay the balance due on Turbo Tax ?

Hello @rebekahparsons11 ,

In the provincial section, sub-section Other Québec credits, you will see a box to check as "Tax transfer for QC residents", where you can transfer part of your federal refund to your QC return (for your balance due).
