Premium Payable under the Québec Prescription Drug Insurance Plan
For Québec Tax Returns:
Issue # 1)
TurboTax is automatically putting "NO" to the following situation and forcing you to pay the premium under the Quebec Prescription Drug Insurance Plan, when you don't have to:
"You were born before January 1, 1957, you did not have a spouse in 2022 and your net federal supplements at line 148 of your tax return exceeds $11,249".
It should either put "YES" and insert the proper code for box 449, or give the option to select it.
Issue # 2)
It does not allow you to enter a code for box 449 if you do not want to complete "Schedule K".
Needs to be fixed ASAP.

Troubleshooting
Hello @BugBen
If you reach all the conditions to check the box 27 on Schedule K, please go on INFOWS form and on page 3 you will see two questions regarding Schedule K. Please check the right answer to both of them.
Thank you,
Magalie

Troubleshooting
Hi BugBen,
Line 449 of the Quebec income tax returns is dependent on Schedule K.
Revenu Quebec requires you to complete Schedule K in order to clarify your obligation to pay into the prescription drug plan or not.
It's a bit longer but you would unfortunately need to complete Schedule K to have the correct amount shown on line 449.
Thanks!
