Want to rid of Live Assist from Self-Emp pkg. I hv already completed all data entry. Call agent told me to redo a new one, but nothing transfers from the previous tax yr.

Call Center agent said that just do a new return (for 2022), select Self-Emp basic, which I did. But previous yr's data does not transfer over (Transfer from Previous Year(. Please help me as this is a show stopper.

When you transfer your info, it will automatically put you into whatever you used the previous year. So, if you used Assist and Review, it will put you into that, and you can't downgrade.

If you start a completely new return, then you can choose whatever you want, but unfortunately, your info will not transfer.
