We have 2 children in university and want to transfer tuition credits from both. $5000 should go against my wife's return and $5000 against mine.
When I enter this into the dependents section the software does not allocate $5000 to me and $5000 to my wife. Instead it puts all $10,000 on one return, whichever name I selected last.
This does not seem to be correct since the maximum that can be transferred to a parent is $5000.
Is this a bug?
