I made a donation of some stocks (with a capital gain) - i have entered in the amount in the capital gains section (choosing T1170 as the option). Then when I go to the donations profile and enter in the amount of the capital donations nothing happens. It doesn't recognize the amount as a donation and it doesn't reduce my taxes payable. What am I doing wrong?
