So my husband and I sold our principal residence at the end of 2023. He actually was the only owner of the property though, so I checked off the box noting this. He bought the property in 1987 but Turbotax is saying that he owned the property for less than 365 days so he has to report the income. Umm, no. Last time I mathed, 2023-1987 is 36 years, unless something has changed lol. Why am I getting this error??
