Troubleshooting

I eventually resolved it by contacting them via twitter.  I will say this.  The licensing model is archaic.  Owners of the software should be either able to install in as many times as they wish, or allow you to deactive an install from a portal.  Furthermore, you should be able to see where your software is installed.  

 

They told me I had used 3 installs.  Which is 100% not true.  I asked for a list of where they are installed so to deactive the rogue ones.  They couldn't or wouldn't supply a list.  Instead they sent me a new key.  

 

Over the course of 6-7 years its is very possible to change PC's more than 3 times.  Especially if you have a winter home and a summer home like I do.  I need the product installed in 2 locations for that reason alone.  Its pretty easy to conceive a situation where a PC in one of those locations goes sideways in that timeframe.

 

Anyway, issue is resolved for now but I am disappointed.
