Troubleshooting
i've had the same problem and found a workaround solution. Turbotax is looking at the base clock of the computer which is 800mhz on the intel N100. This doesnt mean anything in terms of processor performance since this is the speed the processor will operate when idle. The N100 is well capable of running TurboTax. Very bad coding practice from intuit.
To work around the problem:
1) use regedit and navigate to this location : KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
2) note the current value of the "~MHz" key, it should be around 800 decimal, it was 806 in my case
3) change this value to something above 2000 decimal
4) install TurboTax
5) change the value of the "~MHz" key back to the value noted in step 2.
