I see a lot of people having problems with their codes not working. None of the solutions mention that if you are in CANADA you need to download a different version of the software and if you just google 'turbotax download' it will take you to the US site. Plus the site itself does not prompt you to choose Canada or the US version, which would be nice. Something like "Hey, are you from Canada? Check out this link instead for your software" would be helpful. Anyway, I ended up calling, had to uninstall the version I had downloaded as it was not the correct version, and then had to ensure I was on the turbotax canada site downloading the Canadian software. Part of the issue was I could not find the email with the link, because it comes from a 'donotreply' email, so when I searched for turbotax, or intuit, this email did not come up. Hopefully this will help some other Canadians who did the same as me, and downloaded the incorrect software.
