To add to my last post, my wife and I filed our taxes together, with the children listed as dependents, thus supported by both of us. I had to claim the childcare expenses since I was the one with lower income. The income from both parents should have been picked up by TurboTax when calculating the Ontario CARE tax credit. It would have save so much headache for so many TurboTax users.
I have been a TurboTax user for as long as TurboTax has been in Canada and want to know if TurboTax is going to take up responsibility for this mess? I am not even sure how I am going to come up with $15K to pay CRA!
