Canada Child Care Benefit
When I look in the summary to determine CCB total it doesn't match what I get when I use the CRA benefit calculator and there is a substantial difference from 2023 Turbo Tax edition used last year with identical info child. Is this a calculation defect in Turbo Tax 2024?

Troubleshooting
I would recommend double checking the information you've entered into TurboTax to see if that's what affecting the CCB estimate.
If everything you've entered is correct, please contact our phone support team at 1-888-829-8608 as they will be better able to assist you. They can look at the return with you to see what's going on.

Troubleshooting
I'm having this issue as well, its almost acting as if I have less children than I do (I think its removing my oldest child). I have used three different calculators for the CCB and each say the same result, yet Turbo Tax keeps giving a different one at the end, which is extremely lower than last year.

Troubleshooting
@Grakarion, we suggest you to contact our product support team by phone.
They have access to tools we don't have here in Community, like screenshare, see the issues and escalate into an investigation, if needed.
Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Troubleshooting
Its your program that's broken, it wont register children over the age of 7 in any capacity for the CCB, I remove him, nothing changes, I put him back nothing changes. I change his date to make him under 6 and suddenly it works properly. Sadly I can't talk to support till tomorrow when you're phone lines open.

Troubleshooting
@Grakarion Unfortunately, we are not able to replicate the problem. The amounts that TurboTax Desktop is generating are similar to what the CRA's calculator is showing. So you would need to contact phone support so that they can look at your return with you to see what the issue is.
Also please note that what is shown in TurboTax is just an estimate. The CRA will determine how much CCB you will get and notify you after you have filed your return.

Troubleshooting
Seeing the same issue with the latest TurboTax update. Here is my post from yesterday:
https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/troubleshooting/discussion/re-ccb-worksheet/01/351021...
So it appears TurboTax has the wrong base amount per child...they are calculating $747 / child (6 and up)... instead of the correct amount.
From H&R Block:
For July 2025 to June 2026, the basic CCB rate is:
- $7,437 per year for each child under the age of 6
- $6,275 per year for each child between the ages of 6 and 17
Seems like an error in TurboTax - including a possible typo.

The Turbo Tax Standard 2024 is not filling out the CCB worksheet correctly. The field cannot be overridden with the correct amount. As shown in a previous post the value is $747.00 which is incrrect.
