I am trying to claim the Northern Residents Deduction - Trips. I am unsure how to go about this as it is confusing. Help?
I am under the assumption that I can claim $1,200. I took 2 trips in 2024, one in August and one in December. What am I supposed to put for travel expenses and lowest return airfare.

Troubleshooting
Travel expenses include:
• air, train, and bus fare
• vehicle expenses
• meals
• hotel or motel accommodations
• camping fees
• other incidental expenses such as taxis and road or ferry tolls
For more information on options for providing the cost of the LRA, go to canada.ca/lowest-return-airfare.
