I had the saame issue with boxes 52 and 53, even after using the CRA Netfile download which actually split my mutual funds T3 into two separate forms, one for each fund, one of which was fine but the other still doing the box 52/53 thing...so I did what you suggested and BOOM! all good.
Of course now you and I will both be getting those phonecalls from CRA about a warrant for our arrest, LOL.
First ever issue of this nature with this platform...over 10 years experience with it.
