I flat out refuse to round numbers up as suggested or to merge values from two boxes into a single box. I understand that doing so will make the TurboTax software happy and allow me to file, but it will generate a discrepancy between my submission and the T3s that CRA received from the provider--which sounds like a surefire way to get flagged for an audit.
Remember that TurboTax clearing it's validations isn't the ultimate objective here: the objective is getting a valid return in to the CRA.
(And no, I'm not buying Audit Protection just to protect myself from TT not being able to do decimal math properly.)
