When entering a T3 slip splitting 50/50 with my spouse the amounts entered in boxes 52 and 53 do not split and when looking at Schedule 3 and Lines 17599 and 17600 the amounts from 52 and 53 are on mine, the full amount and on spouses shows 0.00 for both period #1 and #2. All the other Capital amounts listed on our T5008's split as entered on a 50/50 basis.
Why is this not splitting the amounts?
Thanks for looking into this for me and I imagine others.
PS I have the latest version of TurboTax as of today, Mar 22/25
