I followed the link as advised but when I input my activation code it says Something's not right, try re-entering your code. This is very frustrating

This is the deluxe online edition. Why do I have to re-enter the activation code each time I want to get in? It the refuses my opening my return, which I now have almost completed.

@TurboTaxAniqua it is shared with my Dad. It sounds like there are many issues with this. How should I proceed to do my taxes?

@hankstar1 You must prepare and submit your return using his account. Since the online edition product can only be connected to a single account, this is not an issue.
