Let's leave politics out of this discussion! I won't be making my voting decision based on the incompetence of the turbotax developers. 

This is an addition error not a policy error. I've checked that "the amount of foreign capital gains included in box 52 plus the amounts from boxes 54 and 56 can't be more than the total capital ..... they are equal and

that " The sum of capital gains before June 25 in box 52, and capital gains after June 24 in box 53, must equal the total capital gains...", they do!

I don't thinks that's CRA's issue!

Why did you post this morning that the problem is fixed? It’s not. I. Allows your customer service and they said you are still working on the problem? Hahahahaha

totql incompetence from a company that is going to lose many customers. 
how do we get a refund?? Answer this please .

Tried to apply the update but it does nothing after I accept to allow TurboTax to make changes. I have used Tu8rboTax since before it was called TurboTax. I have never had an issue over the years. It has always worked they way it was supposed to work and I had confidence in it to do my taxes correctly.

 

This experience has shaken my confidence.  Earlier today Cusotmer Support on this chain of messages says the issue has been resolved; however, we aren't able to apply the update and we don't know if it really has been resolved.

 

I am like others shocked at this lack of urgency and poor deployment of what is called a solution.

 

Please bring these comments to the attention of someone who has authority to address this issue on an urgent basis. We are trying to complete our tax responsibility and you are hampering us.

Same here, trying to update it won't...I even tried the update but said No with Microsoft, the tried to update from inside the software, it does nothing.
