Troubleshooting

I opened TurboTax on my desktop yesterday evening and was asked if I wanted to update. I agreed and when I continued with my return the numbers had changed even though the inputs were the same. My original problem was with the 50/50 split on T3 capital gains. Lines 17599 and 17600 had the full amount entered on my return and 0 on my wife's but lines 68140 and 68150 were split 50/50. This error was corrected by the update even though I hadn't changed anything or used any of the workarounds mentioned in some of the earlier posts. My situation also didn't include any capital losses, just capital gains on a T3 and two T5008's.

I Netfiled both returns today and both were accepted. A banner did appear that stated:

Alert: If you see one of the following codes, it's due to a CRA issue affecting all tax software in Canada. We're working with the CRA to get this resolved. Please come back after April 14 to file. Error codes: 2508, 2515, 45555, 90228, 90308, 95031, 95033, 95034, 95365, or 99915.

This software update may not resolve all of the problems, but I wanted to update everyone on my situation and thank everyone who posted comments and helpful details on their own experiences. If this is indeed a CRA issue and not a TurboTax problem, the lack of support and communication from both TurboTax and the CRA is still inexcusable.
