Troubleshooting

@leakly If you can't find the software installer after downloading, check your Downloads folder, search your computer for the file name, and consider temporarily disabling antivirus software or clearing the %temp% folder

 

  • The installer file is likely saved in your Downloads folder, which is the default location for downloaded files.
  • Open File Explorer and navigate to the Downloads folder.
  • Look for the file with the installer name or extension (e.g., .exe, .msi). 
  • Sometimes, antivirus software might block or quarantine the installer file, preventing you from finding it or running it.
  • Temporarily disable your antivirus software (if you have one) and then search for the installer file again.
  • Important: Remember to re-enable your antivirus software after you've completed the installation. 
  • If you still can't find the installer, try downloading the software again from: https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/2024/dls/TurboTax_2024.exe
