Troubleshooting
I am from AB Canada and also getting this error code. I have called 5 times being told to "wait for the next update" then now after being on the phone with finally a very helpful person for an hour, we found out it is a "CRA" issue. Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I have 2 T4'S. All info is in correctly.....It has been just over a month now and there has been no resolution.

Did you only remove the 188 or did you have to add it somewhere?
Thank you!

@frustrated1111 If you see one of these error codes, it's due to a CRA issue affecting all tax software in Canada, so you will not be able to accurately file your taxes with any CRA-certified tax software unless you use a CRA-recommended workaround or wait until these issues are resolved by the CRA.
We do not recommend using any workarounds that have not been approved by the CRA, as this might affect the accuracy of your return.

Is this error code verified as being one of the ones effected from the CRA?
One of the work arounds of "taking out the 188 from 16A as listed on the thread here does work (just FYI) but it drops the return by over $43. Won't be submitting on a workaround as that wont match my T4. This makes 1.a. equal as well.

@frustrated1111 To finish filing your return, you would need to use a CRA-recommended workaround or wait until these issues are resolved by the CRA. Please visit the TurboTax Canada blog for updates on approved workarounds and expected resolution dates. We do not recommend using any workarounds that have not been approved by the CRA, as this might affect the accuracy of your return.
