Yes, I thought about doing the payment in advance of the April 30th deadline, but as the balance owing is several thousand dollars, I would need the refund from the other return to help cover it. At this point it’s unlikely I would even get the refund in time since we are at the 16th. I guess I will have to find the money somewhere.
If I was to get a late filing charge as a result of not sending the return in on time there would be a mushroom cloud over my house. Uggghhhh!
