I've been using TurboTax since before it was TurboTax. But I've had it. It doesn't improve, and the T5013 is the pinnacle of bad design. It's like a bad joke. It's been like this for years, and there could not be an acceptable explanation. I agree with every complaint here, and can't tolerate the answers. Like box 134. If you've already calculated, and don't need us to enter it, then SHOW IT, so we don't have to look through all the box numbers to find it. And, do you not know what numbers are all about? Why are they randomly strewn around, instead of being put in order? Don't you dare answer that question. It was rhetorical. There could be not explanation. Why are they split across pages that you only find in the footnotes. Why do you have to click on the hyperlink for 151 to find 271?
And why do you have to enter both the fiscal year end and start? And why don't you tell us whether you want it in mm/dd/yy or what? And why, when I have entered 31/12/2024 for the year end am I put in a doom loop where I'm asked to reconcile the fact that the end date is NOT 31/12/2024, and therefore can't move on. It makes me want to spit.
