@AdaNg Please check that you have selected a "Type Of Income" & entered a date of disposition on your T5008 slips.

For all T3 slips in your return: - Remove the amount from Box 52, if applicable (leave it blank) - Enter the sum of Box 52 + Box 53 in Box 53 - Ensure Box 53 equals the amount in Box 21 If the error persists, try rounding the box amounts (21 and 53) to the nearest dollar and submit via NETFILE once more.

Is there a fix for this annoying error yet? I mean for those who owes money to CRA has to submit by April 30th. What is the company's developer doing???

I have an amount on my T3 box 25 and 53, but these box numbers don't exist on the T3 Turbo tax desktop version. As a result, I keep getting this error message: " The sum of capital gains before June 25 in box 52, and capital gains after June 24 in box 53, must equal the total capital gains in box 21"

What do I do?

@dmooner12 This issue has been resolved. Are you still getting any error message? 

@gsepehri   For the error on the T3 slip not balancing box 52+53 to equal box 21A, trying to enter the sum of 52+53 into box 53 (deleting 52) should fix the problem.

Yes I am so I went in and entered the same amount on line 53 as line 21

I cannot get the error message to allow Netfile. I have checked each capital gain and cannot see where box 52 and box 53 do not add up. 

I made sure the before and after do add up exactly and have tried a number of different combinations, including using box 53 only but that does not work. 

I put the same amount in box 53 as 21 and it worked for me. I was able to NETFILE then.
