TURBOTAX EXECUTIVE TEAM - you need to issue a software update immediately with the only purpose of displaying a message explaining to anyone with capital gains inputted with various methods including autofill, how to fix the reporting of capital gains/losses and how to resolve any problems that occur during efile to CRA and RQ. This is the urgent, responsible and minimal approach needed at this late stage! We can assume that hundreds or thousands of users of your software besides the few on this thread might have no idea about what's going on or will find out very soon and panic when they try to efile, or perhaps file under reported gains. I would recommend sending emails to Intuit senior management US/Canada, starting with PR and IR contacts are in news releases. We are the tip of the iceberg.
