ANYONE WHO HAS SUCCESSFULLY WORKED AROUND TT FLAWS RE T5008 NOT REFLECTING IN SCHEDULE 3, AND EFILED. PLEASE SUMMARIZE THE STEPS BELOW (ADD TO):
1. In each t5008 slip, select the type of income (cap gain usually), and set the date of disposition to 01/01/2024, save the file. My schedule 3 did update finally with the totals from the t5008s. You can autofill from revenu quebec if in quebec, this generates all the T5008s.
2. After autofilling from revenu quebec, my t3/t5 and rl3/rl16 look like they need work, not sure yet, the slips are mostly blank, no names anywhere. I have hardly any investment income showing on T1 vs a lot on the quebec side so not sure what's going on there.
3. Any other issues list here step by step please, all the way to efiling issues and workarounds.
