Troubleshooting
I found a solution of sorts.
- Don't allow TurboTax to submit your T1135 (skip that step).
- Download a competitor and pay the $15 registration fee
- Use a competitor to enter your T1135 information (only). It allows you to add as many rows to each section as you need.
- NetFile the T1135 (only) using a competitor. Use Turbo tax to NetFile your T1.
- Print out (or save) the NetFile confirmation code from the CRA that a competitor receives for your T1135 filing.
This is annoying of course. You might even decide that $15 is all you will spend on tax software for 2022 and use a competitor for everything.
