I have the same issue.
From what I researched, CRA doesn't force the parent with the largest income to claim the DTC. I also want to apply the DTC to the parent who does not have the highest income, but I'm unable to.
Is there a way to change this in future versions of TurboTax, as I can't use the software anymore because of this? It doesn't make sense why TurboTax should force it to be the person with the highest income.
There is no workaround to this? thanks
