Updated after initial posting:
--> I spoke with my husband and he had previously created an Intuit account and did the installation. I was able to use his account to get the licence entered for the 2024 version.

I'm having the same problem. Thank you for the links. I've installed 2024 on my new computer. When I enter the 2024 licence code, I get a message that the code is associated with a different account.
How do I get the 2024 TurboTax application and licence code to work on my new computer?

Sequence of events:
Old computer - installed and used 2024 TurboTax in April 2025
New computer:
- installed 2025 TurboTax in Jan 2026.
- TurboTax requested to sign in. I didn't recall having to sign in in previous years. I tried my email address and my phone number and received a message that no user profile existed. So, I created a new account.
- installed 2024 TurboTax:
- prompted to log in --> Used newly created account
- prompted for license --> entered the same 2024 licence code as was used on old computer.
- received message that the licence code was associated with a different account
yesterday
