Troubleshooting

We can try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.

 

Reset your modem. It can sometimes be beneficial. Try connecting your computer temporarily to your phone's mobile hotspot.

 

  • Windows frequently prevents tax software from "talking" to the internet unless it has full permissions.
  • Close TurboTax entirely.
  • Right-click the TurboTax 2025 icon on the desktop.
  • Select "Run as an administrator."
  • Try it again to Netfile.

Disable the firewall or VPN for the time being and enable it afterwards.
