Troubleshooting
If you purchased TurboTax Online (Do -It - Yourself) , you must activate the code in order to link it to your Intuit Online account. Please use this link to activate it for your account. This code can only be activated once in a single account. All returns must be filed from this account.

Please keep in mind that the code can only be used once per account (for the online/DIY version). Using the code again will result in an error message. It can only be linked to one account. Additionally, TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop codes are not interchangeable.
If you bought TurboTax Desktop, you need to download the software onto your computer from this link.

Install it, and, as you follow the steps, the application will ask you to activate your product. Here's a link explaining all the steps involved in installing the Desktop version
