I have joint custody of my child. My wife claims child tax benefit. I paid for childcare while in my care. How do I claim 100% of child care expense.

My status has not changed as I am divorced with joint custody of one child. CRA has already established that I am only entitled to 50% of the Child tax benefit. This is my 1st time preparing my return on Turbo Tax-Desktop and I need to enter somewhere that I am only entitled to 50% so the Turbo tax shows my only 50% for the Child tax benefit calculator. How do I show this in Turbo tax -desktop?

There is no place to specify who's getting the CCB, because it's not part of your tax return. What's shown in TurboTax is only an estimate. You need to submit a return in order to get the CCB, but the CRA determines who gets the benefit based on what they have on file.
