This makes all the sense in the world. In this day and age, Intuit's claimed inability to convert the online tax file to .tt24 and send it to their customers (who own that data!!) is not only incredible but I find that impossible. Yet when first going to the online version it requires conversion and upload of your desktop file!! I think the reason for this is to keep all users on the online version so that Intuit can analyze and sell your personal data! What other reason can there be for this? Unable to convert data to a .tt24 file? Absolutely ridiculous especially as the US version can do it.
