Bought deluxe online edition from retailer in toronto, canada but turbo tax will not accept my 16 digit activation code. can anyone help me?

Activation code is 16 digits with space between every 4 letters but when I enter it after every 4 digits there is hyphen instead of empty space. Does that make a difference? I have been at this for over 2 hours
