Can we use split income if we have one income

Thank you for choosing TurboTax Community!

If you are speaking of splitting your pension income, both you and your spouse/partner would have to complete and file the Canada Revenue Agency's form T1032, Joint Election to split pension income as seen in our TurboTax article: Understanding Pension Income Splitting for Seniors

You can find more detailed information about who and what is eligible for income splitting on the Canada Revenue Agency' website Pension Income Splitting

As we are uncertain as to what income you are referring to, and you may need more guidance, please contact us privately on our Social media so we can help you further. You can find us on Facebook or Twitter
