Dependants net income

My 16 year old has a part time job at Mcdonalds. they want me to enter his net income from a T1. he is not filing. How do i get past this part?

He needs to file a return. Prepare his simpler return first and then you'll have the amounts you need for your return.

If all he has is a T4, it should take less than 10 minutes to do his return in our TurboTax Free edition: https://turbotax.intuit.ca/personal-tax-software/free-online.jsp
