If you received a NETFILE confirmation code, you can rest assured that your income tax return has been submitted to the Canada Revenue Agency.

It can take as little as 8 business days for your income tax return to be processed when you NETFILE.  However, the Canada Revenue Agency requests that you wait at least 4 weeks before contacting them as it can sometimes take longer to process your income tax return.

If it has been at least 4 weeks, you may want to contact the Canada Revenue Agency at 1 800 959 8281 to check on the status of your income tax return.
